Mahjong 101 is a welcoming, step-by-step introduction to American Mahjong designed especially for beginners. Whether you’ve never touched a tile or you’ve watched friends play and felt completely lost, this class is for you.

In this fun and relaxed setting, you’ll learn:
- The basic setup and flow of the game
- Tile names and how to read the National Mah Jongg League card
- How to build a hand
- Charleston basics
- Calling, passing, and Mahjong!
- Game etiquette and common beginner mistakes

We keep things simple, clear, and approachable with no pressure, and no experience required.

By the end of class, you’ll feel confident sitting down at a table and playing a full game with friends.
